The production Icarus deals with the theme of boundaries and freedom and was created in collaboration with Zaži in Trnava, Malý Berlín, and the Juraj Fándly Library in Trnava. It was first presented at the International festival Tanec in Prague and Divadelná Nitra festival in 2021 as a result of co-production collaboration among creators from several countries. Besides Slovakia and the Czech Republic, France also participated. In preparation of the project, the Association Divadelná Nitra, Tanec Praha, tYhle, Be SpectACTive! joined forces. In addition to professional artists (mentors and performers), teenagers – students from elementary art schools in Nitra and Prague – were both performers and creators of the project.
